New feature: Pinshape’s Advanced Search!
We’ll admit it: our search function wasn’t the easiest thing to work with. We have a great marketplace of community designs, and as it grew, searching for a design got harder. With your feedback, we made some changes and added new features to searching on Pinshape! Say hello to advanced search!
Here are the things you can now do with our search function:
– Show designs available for streaming only
– Show designs with prints only (picture of a print someone has done of that design and their setting details)
– Show free designs only
– Narrow to designs that have been printed with your particular printer
– Narrow designs to your set price range
We hope that these improvements make it easier to look for 3D printing designs. Based on your tags, designs should now be pulled up more easily, whereas before, precise wording will have to be used before a specific design could be found.
Go try it out by going to “browse” and opening the filters tab. If you have any comments, feel free to let us know!
We’ll soon be incorporating searching for individual users, as well as looking through design collections. We look forward to further improving your user experience and our marketplace!
