3D printing for charity with Miniworld!
Hey community!
Most of you have heard about the collaboration between Pinshape and Miniworld. We released two 3D designs, both inspired by the structures found in Nepal. The profits from their downloads would then go to UNICEF Nepal Relief to help families impacted by the April 2015 earthquake. Donations were matched by government and corporate sponsors. Throughout the last few weeks, we were touched by the efforts of the 3D printing community.
As a result of the campaign, we donated $50 to UNICEF, totalling to an amount of $150 after being tripled by sponsors. We look forward to organizing more future programs that can help those in need, while engaging the 3D printing community. Let’s make 3D printing for charity a thing! If you’ve got an idea, reach out to us!
The designs for the Durbar Square Pagoda and the Boudhanath Stupa are still available for purchase, so it’s not too late to contribute! Check out the cool designs by pressing on their respective pictures below! Every bit helps!
