Gandalf The White Staff with Lights by bob_grannan
You shall not pass!! Oh Gandalf, how wise, noble and true <3 This staff design is such a neat thing to have around the house if not to use as a walking stick on a pleasant nature stroll! I love how bob_grannan (if that is in fact your real name) created an easy way to attach the staff head to a pipe or wooden rod of your choice. The design is intended to have a light installation inside, but I think it’s equally cool to have around the house as is. Enjoy, followers of Gandalf!

Zebra Iphone 5 Case by FORMBYTE
If you are new to 3d printing, one of the first things you should try printing out is an iPhone case. In most cases (depending on the design of course), they are easy to print, fun and functional. I love the simple and clean ‘zebra’ style stripes on this. It will also help me blend in when I go to Africa to teach those mean poachers a lesson. Yeah!

Toy Truck Driver
Toy Dump Truck Trailer by CreativeTools
This trailer is the perfect addition to the original Toy Dump Truck by Daniel Noree. The box is half the size of the original truck so plenty of space for that leftover Halloween candy (though all the candy from our office has already been eaten!). The design comes with a lock pin so you can attach it to the back of the truck.

Beer Drinker
Three Geometric Coaster Designs by [email protected]
My choice this week comes out of a search for something to solve a frustrating problem. When I’m drinking a nice cold pint of beer, I continually run into a problem where my glass coasters stick to the bottom of my cup. The problem is that I don’t notice until it’s too late, which is usually when the coaster becomes unstuck on the way to my mouth, and goes crashing into the table, or shatters on the floor. These cool, stylish coasters shouldn’t have the same problem since the condensation won’t be able to form a tight suction on the cut-out surface, and even if they do fall, they’ll be harmless. Now for a beer!

Closing ZIPs Backpack Docking by NQT.2015 by QuangTri
Back in Elementary school I used to own a buzz lightyear backpack. Most of the backpack budget must have gone in adding wings to it because the zippers were cheap. Every now and then the backpack zippers would open up by themselves. My biggest fear was that my gameboy would fall from my back pack. Now that I think about it… maybe this is how I lost my gameboy. Anyways, QuangTri design solves this problem. It’s a simple backpack dock that keeps both zips together. Kudos!

Teabag Dispenser Cupboard Voronoi Sytle by Doc Biber
It’s fall and I’m stocking up on hot drinks. This teabag dispenser will help keep my random small cardboard boxes of tea in order and make it look classier— I usually go for my supermarket Liptons and Tetleys, so they’re not much to look at. Also appreciate how this makes it easier to take out individual teabags!

Dear Deer
The 2D & 3D tiles of deer by Eunny
I like deers so much! I have deer magnets, and a wooden statue of a deer. Even my favourite cup, which was bought at 3 a.m. in a shop in Vilnius, has pictures of deers on it. Every deer reminds me about Christmas and Santa. It would be great to print many many deers and create a garland out of them.

Ever wondered where all that loose change might go? I think it usually ends up in the washing machine and then disappears forever. Whatever your hypothesis might be, it would be awesome to store it in some safe place, right? Look no further, we’ve hit the jackpot! This little Piggy Bank looks cute and serves a fine purpose. Plus, it’s customizable!

Metal Militia
ring holder horn sign by carlos_porto
I love metal, so this devil horns ring holder speaks to me. I don’t wear rings, but my girlfriend wears about 28 rings on each hand so she can get some use out of it. Alternatively, I could fasten it to the wall horizontally, and use it to hang my keys and/or ear plugs after I get home from a gig! \m/

Night Owl
Owl Pen Holder / Tools Holder by mingshiuan
You can put anything into this 3D printed owl. The idea is nice and the implementation & design is awesome. It comes in three colours – I like the grey one best. Which one you like?
