Pinshape Featured Designs – April 6th

There’s just over a day left in the Game Design Contest, so in this week’s featured designs we’ll be showing off many of the community’s favorite props from video games. Check out this week’s tutorial to learn how to make your own Guardian Sword from Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Widowmaker’s Widow’s Kiss Collapsible Sniper Rifle by laellee

Laellee did an incredible job with the design of this Widow’s Kiss Sniper rifle which is full-scale and transforms like the one in the game. Full instructions are included on the design page so you can make your own.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Guardian Sword with NeoPixel LEDs

Check out this week’s tutorial to see Pinshape’s take on this Guardian Sword by Adafruit. They did a great job with the original design and electronics, and this was our favorite build so far!

Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Ancient Arrow by jakemisra

If you’re more into the ranged than melee classes, look no further than this Ancient Arrow design by jakemisra. Check out Jake’s video to learn how to make your own!

Custom Cutaway Saber Hilt by cworthdynamics

Cworthdynamics optimized this design to show off the resolution of SLA 3D printing, and used magnets as an attachment mechanism so that components can be removed to expose the inner details of the saber hilt.
Halo Energy Sword by Adafruit

Adafruit did an incredible job with both the design and photography of this Halo Energy Sword. We’re excited to have them as a partner in the Game Design Contest which closes in just over a day!

Warhammer 40k – Inquisitor Sword by teptec

Teptec did an excellent job with the finishing on this Inquisitor Sword from Warhammer 40k. The design is split into 10 separate components so that you can print it at full-size.
