Pinshape Featured Designs – January 6th
It’s time for the first Featured Designs of 2017! We’ve lots of functional and low-poly designs to feature this week so stick around. If you haven’t done so already, check out the top entries to our Algix3D Print Contest and stay tuned for another contest that’s coming up soon!
Small Box with Hinge by Sonia Verdu
These boxes make use of Sonia’s specialty in ball jointed and hinged designs. They print in one piece and function right off the printer with no assembly required!
The Solder Dispenser industry is frankly under-explored but Adafruit aspires to fix that with this classy design. Print in multiple pieces and get creative with color schemes.
Low-Poly R2D2 and C3PO by FLOWALISTIK
We printed FLOWALISTIK’S R2D2 in Formlabs’ new Ceramic Resin for the header image so we just had to feature it again. It prints flat on the build platform and easily assembles together!
Low Poly Batman Mask by Nextin3D
Batman Masks are always a favourite of the Pinshape community and this one aspires to make printing easy with minimal supports required and a simple design.
